The New Porsche Boxster

Nancy and I traveled to Germany to take delivery on our new Porsche Boxster. We drove it to Giverny, Monet's home in France where we met Becky and her friend Mona. Next we went to England via the Chunnel and drove up to Scotland where we stayed with our friends from Saudi, Bill and Francis Campbell. We then went to England's Lake District where we celebrated our 17th anniversary. Afterward we set off to Somerset in the south of England to visit with more old friends from Saudi, Bert and Val Coakes. We then crossed the Channel by ferry to Normandy were we toured the battlefields. Viewing the Bayeux tapestry was a highlight of the trip. Finally a mad dash around Paris, back to Stuttgart to turn the car back to the factory for it to be shipped to us in the States in a month or so. Except for rush hour traffic in Paris and London, it was a great trip
