Agricola Elementary School   Dinosaur Fossil Dig

I have created a dinosaur fossil dig for the Agricola Elementary School.   This dig represents the fossils of two velociraptors that attach a protoceratops nest.  This is a depiction of an actual event that was uncovered in the Gobi desert.  I have carved the pieces in plaster and cast the fossils in concrete.  They are imbedded in a concrete slab.  .

Below are children of Mrs. Judy Wilder’s second grade class studying the fossils.

We held a contest in the second grade to name the baby Protoceratops.  The winner named it “Agrisaurus” for their school and was given a cast of the baby. The top 10 runners up were awarded a piece of real dinosaur  fossil
