New Courtyard
We have finally completed the work on the house and courtyard.  Below are photos of the  completed courtyard.

Bronze heron

The heron is titled “Wetlands Guardian” and is a limited edition bronze by the artist, Terri Malec Osborne who lives in the San Juan Islands, WA. We purchased it at the Scott Milo Gallery in Anacortes, WA.  It has had an interesting history in that it was damaged twice in shipment.  The foundry, The Bronze Works of Sheldon, WA repaired it wonderfully both times.  It is a well-traveled bird.

This is our garden gate that  I designed and built. Jim Miklos, a blacksmith from Pennsylvania, made the hinges and handles.  He specializes in antique reproductions.
